Mallards for Marion Fundraiser

About

It is hard to believe that just a few months ago, we lost our dear friend and legend of conservation Marion McCollum.  He not only leaves a legacy for the institution that is Mack's Prairie Wings but also his passion for getting the next generation of Arkansans involved in the outdoors.  He served as Commissioner of the agency from 1995-2002, with a front-row seat helping lead the charge for the passage of Amendment 75 Sales Fund would bolster outdoor conservation forever in Arkansas. Marion's steadfast dedication to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission's Youth Shooting Sports Program was unwavering.  He served on the Board of the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation and was instrumental in the fundraising effort to build a state-of-the-art shooting sports complex in Jacksonville - home of the AGFC Youth Shooting Sports Program. To honor his legacy, the Board of Directors of the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation has created the Marion McCollum Youth Shooting Sports Fund to benefit the program he so dearly loved. Foundation President Emeritus Witt Stephens, a longtime friend and colleague of Marion's, established "Mallards for Marion" as a tribute to Marion's years of service to Arkansas's outdoors.
Mallards for Marion consists of duck hunts across the Grand Prairie for the upcoming 2023-24 waterfowl season and will feature some of Arkansas's most storied hunting clubs and duck holes.
